About the Role
As a window cleaning operative with Swash window cleaning you will be responsible for ensuring residential customers receive their scheduled window cleaning when they have been notified it will occur.
All our customers are residential homeowners. Mostly all your cleaning will be repeat monthly maintenance cleans alongside occasional first cleans and one-off window cleans. You'll drive our company van which is equipped with a hot water reach and wash system. No exterior traditional cleaning work is undertaken. Some interior window cleaning maybe required from time to time.
Your work load for the first 2 months will be 4 days a week between 8:00am and 5:00pm and then 5 days a week onwards on a permanent contract of employment. Wage is set per day and paid monthly via PAYE.
A paid training / probation period of 2 weeks prior to approval of position.
Uniform provided (t-shirt and jacket only)
As part of your duties you will:
- Clean windows to a good standard as trained (using water fed pole system)
- Drive van to job locations
- Update the planner (marking jobs as done / adding notes)
- Keep van clean and tidy
- Collect van from business address in Colchester
- Follow routes planned as best as possible
- Troubleshoot any technical issues
- Perform small maintenance tasks (if and when required)
- Fill van tank with water
Full clean uk driving licence

Able and happy to work outdoors in all seasons.
Have the physical fitness required to complete the cleaning required
Able to commute to Colchester during training period and onwards
No previous experience in window cleaning is necessary just an ability and contentment to work outdoors. Very little if any ladder work is required.

Salary: Up to £96.00 per day including job completion bonus
No contact required with customers. Access is provided via notification sms sent the evening prior and all payments collected via direct debit.
